Rising Star loses ratings ground vs last week’s premier. The ratings rose throughout the 2 hour episode and was the #1 show in its timeslot for every half hour except against a repeat of Family Guy. That’s some good news. Big Brother was down vs last year’s Sunday premiere

On CBS, the Sunday premiere of Big Brother earned a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, down from the 2.3 Thursday’s episode earned and down a tenth from the 1.9 adults 18-49 rating that last summer’s Sunday premiere earned. Rising Star garnered a 1.2, down three tenths from last week’s 1.5 adults 18-49 rating.
