The comments, tho… Wow.. so many attacks on my girl Allison’ ¦ ::weeps:: I’m gonna pull a crazy fantard moment here and defend the Rawker!

Sure, I see where some folks are coming from.. Allie’s got some edge to her that might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But she’s exciting, funny, and just trying to be herself! I *still* haven’t heard of her being mean-spirited or rude to anyone. Check her out with fans HERE. Besides, she isn’t some religious figure or politician or anything’ ¦just a contestant on a singing show’ ¦ Let’s not be so hard on her.

And I don’t know about her mom’ ¦but *I’m* proud of her! She’s handled the pressure of AI amazingly well, on top of being one of the 2 BEST singers on the show.. Frankly’ ¦she’s the only reason I got tickets for the concert..which, after 7 seasons of casually watching Idol, I never thought I’d do.

I think Whitney Pastorek, who reported from inside the live shows HERE for EW, captured how mature Allison is in ways that truly matter’ ¦and yet still manages to be a hilariously goofy teenager. Who knows..? I’ll be at the official meet n greet this Thursday and will post if anything odd happens’ ¦ I suspect, tho, that I’ll still LUV that girl!!

I grow very weary of the raw, vulger language used by some. Allison’s tweets have used language that I would “ground” my teenaged daughter for using … and while I am not Allison’s mother, I hope her handlers, at least, will consider how her lack of professionalism may negatively affect her career and give her some guidelines for self-editing.

She can still be her exuberant self – I would just like to see a slightly edited version of it.

And, I’m betting that when she is a mom herself, she’ll have more than a few cringe-worthy moments when reviewing her “idol tour scrapbook” with her own children.

That being said, Thank God there were only “messenger pigeons” and “rolls of parchment” when I was a teen! Their immediate availability and longevity were mercifully short.

In both cases it would be inmature, and would put people off; but there is a difference, and that’s why I would like to know more about the incident. If it was like hyper, etc. that doen’t mean that she was a bad person per se, but will need work – and some people won’t like her teenage-ness; if it was like a diva, Allison would have to watch out her behavior… this from an Ally fan

I ran into her at a restaurant in SF last week. She was extremely sweet and exceedingly polite when I approached her (after she was done eating), even though I was nervously blabbing way too long about how awesome she was, asked to take a pic with her. She mentioned she was really tired.

I know I have good and bad days when it comes to being cheery and patient with people–and I would hate to be defined by those less frequent bad days. Since Allison is a human, it’s no surpise that she’s going to have her off moments too.

I stopped following her on Twitter because I couldn’t deal with her teenage-ness.

I’m going to the KC concert, too. From what I understand, unless you know someone connected w/ the show the only way to get meet and greets is through radio station contests.
