Renee… LOVED your recap – but hate you just a weeee bit too – i am soooo jealous you got close & personal with His Hotness! :mrgreen_wp:

I went to the Aug 8th (Sat) concert with my 20(something)year old daughter and we had the time of our lives! Based on my daughter’s age, you can tell I’m no teeny-bopper — but Adam sure made me feel like one!

Agreed with you that all the performers sounded much better live than they did during the show – but it was definitely Adam’s night! He blew the roof off the place!

We went up and told him that we had a gift for him. I told him that we had a star named for him in the International Star Registry and we gave him the tube with the certificate and star map and letter. He said, ‘wow, that’s so cool!’ and asked what we named it. We told him ‘Adam Lambert ‘â€œ Planet Fierce’ and he cracked up and said his brother would love that.

Very cool! And I am so envious you got to meet him. You guys had a great experience with this seasons tour, that’s awesome.

That star-as-gift idea was fantastic, and very fittingly named. And it’s very sweet that you brought gifts for the other guys as well. I wonder if Neil knows how the phrase he coined has spread though the blogosphere? Out of curiosity, you said that you discussed Kris moving to LA–if you don’t mind my asking, did he say that he was moving, or thinking about it?

Again, very entertaining to read, and lovely gift.

What a lucky woman you are, not only to go to so many concerts, but to have great seats AND to meet all the idols, especially Adam. What a thoughtful gift to give him a star in Aquarius – very unusual. Thanks for sharing the great photos too!!!
