TooFab caught up with Randy Jackson at the launch party for Timepieces by Randy Jackson. The collection will launch exclusively on HSN July 20, 2012.  He loves watches!

In the course of chatting timepieces, the discussion eventually turns to Idol.

With just two weeks left until the finale, Randy said Hollie and Jessica’s chances are “pretty good,” but “there’s still a lot of money” riding on Phillip and Joshua. He later reiterated, “I think the odds are probably on a boy winning again.”

Hm.

    It is not hate or judgement.  The truth of the fact is he is not good.  Plain and simple.

    That may be, although there are many who would debate it. However, it didn’t hurt that Simon gave her press when he featured her in the early promos for the show, press when he cut her, press when he went to her home to admit his mistake and “save” her, and contstantly favored her over the rest of his “girls”. All of that signaled she was the one to beat, the best, the favorite long before the actual real competition started. And Simon’s followers responded accordingly.
