So…I guess Phillip has taken the American Idol World Series anthem slot? Sorry Caleb Johnson. It sucks to be the current winner of American Idol. This will be Phillip’s SECOND World Series National Anthem, having performed it the year that he won, Game 1 in 2012.
Ironcially, Caleb would probably knock the Anthem right out of the park. But, as the lowest selling Idol winner ever, he’s too stinky with the stench of failure to be handed such a high profile opportunity.
