Phillip Phillips joined forces with PS22 yesterday to raise funds for Hurricane Sandy relief. You can watch videos capped from the stream of the event when you click this link.

I’ll eventually replace all of the caps in the original thread with high quality videos that are beginning to appear on the PS 22 You Tube site.

This new HQ video, of Phillip debuting a new song “Gone Gone Gone” is one I want to bring to your attention, though. It’s my favorite song on his debut album The World from The Side of the Moon.

Watch the video below.

Here is another review for Phillips album…Good overall…just thought it was weird that the reviewer thinks that Phillip is a ‘marketing creation’…obviously he has not paid any attention to Phillip over the last 10 months..lol!

Thanks for the link. Loved the reviewer’s “Bottom line – “Ready to make the spotlight his home.” :)

B grade is considered “above average”.  That is certainly note worthy for a debut.

I love the bottom lines from Billboard/EW/Matt Carter, who respectively said The World From The Side Of The Moon was the most relevant/more engaging/the strongest disc…….(from Idol in recent years).

Jim Shearer of VH1 will get to do some major fanboying next week, after what he said about Phil (and Adam Lambert). Phil is scheduled to appear on next Sat’s show.  This week Home is number 9 on the countdown.

Such a sweet, heart-warming performance.  Was a P2 fan from Day 1 and now even more so.

Catchy melody, touching lyrics, sweet to death….Gone Gone Gone seems like the last romantic song in the world. And if people believe in love, this song should be performed on Valentine’s Day every year, or every day till the end of time.

    “Sweet to death”

Ahhhh…I agree! It’s just so…. sweet. I’m not even that sweet of a person but this makes me feel warm and sunshiney and happy! The kids are angelic and P2 is the real deal.

I’m now Gone Gone Gone to my happy place with this song !
