Now reporter’s have asked Bo Bice how he feels about Paula Goodspeed etc.

Poor Bo, comes across as well, a tad bit scatter brained.

Taking one for the team, I watched each appalling episode.

LOL. that’s why we love you MJ. i made it thru 15 min of the first episode before flipped.

I dunno about paula leaving. At this point, so many changes are being made that i wouldn’t be surprised if ANYTHING happened at this point. I really hope paula stays for at least one more season to see what she is like with the new 4th judge. oh boy. I’m definitely staying tuned…

But i do believe that if Paula left the show, whatever spotlight she has would diminish to next-to-nothing.

I agree Gwen. She might not have alot to say at times and sure she flubs but she is a very huge part of the show. I’m not too sure I will like the fourth judge. It kind of upsets the apple cart and it honestly is just fine as is. Other things should have been changed instead of adding a fourth judge or one of the judges leaving. I’ve watched every year too since the very first one and I would really miss Pauler. There would be no more *what’s in her coke glass* jokes. No more flirting with Simon….noooooo.

As for Goodspeed, that is just sad. Really sorry she could not have gotten some serious help before it came to this.

Paula Goodspeed was seriously troubled. I don’t see how anyone could blame the show for her suicide. It’s just very sad that she was so mentally disturbed and no one seemed to want to help her.

I will kick and scream if Paula leaves the show. I am a veteran watcher, and she’s as much a part of the show as Ryan’s “This…is………………..American Idol.” She cannot leave. I’ll protest.

The show had no bearing on this poor womanÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s suicide. If not for the show she would have latched onto something else. She would have simply changed her name to another reality show star and become obsessed with them. Sad but true. The nasty auditions still sux, but folk watch. Not surprised at all.

It’s quite possible. It is clear she had problems long before the audition. AI cannot be blamed for her suicide; the issue is how they portray the bad apples.

Paula leaving would be the death of the show. I know alot of us old pros slice and dice this show, but at the very crux of the matter is the synergy between those judges. I do think that they should all prepare for the future as idol cannot last forever, Paula has reinvented herself so many times, from cheerleader to choreographer, to performer to judge. She would be foolish to be stagnant. The woman might be loopy, but she is not dumb. Truly she’s not, she just plays it on teevee.

The poll that I mentioned and has been posted here does seem like Fox propaganda. A sample of 100 people in each group? That doesn’t seem like a good cross-section of the audience. But, then again, the audition episodes DO get the highest ratings, so I guess the “casual viewers” and the real AI fans like us are on different planets…

I’m not proud of this, but I watched a few episodes of Paula’s reality show. She needs to stick with idol. The woman is not playing with a full deck. That show was all kinds of ugly.

I don’t know which was more moronic. That Fox actually hired a firm to poll people regarding Goodspeed or that people actually participated in the poll.

In regards to Paula Abdul, there have always been rumors of her leaving AI. Maybe her feelings are hurt about this 4th judge and is throwin a tissy. She can throw some good tissy’s from what I saw of her on that awful show of hers. I did catch a few episodes. It mainly was Paula yelling, Paula in pain, Paula having breakdowns and crying. Repeat each show and that was the whole gist.

I still like Paula on AI. For me it’s comic relief. Randy lost his dawg pound last year so that one could be true, he also seemed to have lost some spark last season.

Time will tell. Now I am getting excited to see the new slaver’s. Ack meant singer’s!
