The Summer Olympics closing ceremony earned a 4.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 16.85 million viewers (pending updates) on NBC– the second-lowest of this Olympiad.

The special 30 minute preview of The Voice that followed the Olympics didn’t get much of a lift unfortunately. The show garnered a 2.7 in the 18-49 demographic, only 0.2 above its Monday average from the spring cycle.
