OMG, is this list TRUE???

I’m hoping. *Way* more variety than, like, ever. Should help to push into more various choreography, I’d hope.

I would agree that Tyce would be my first pick of choreographers to lose, too.

Spense, I definitely agree they need to feature new choreographers, but IMO, Mia was not the one to lose. Tyce would’ve been my choice. We need a new Broadway choreographer, stat!

I hope they have some new choreographers to introduce into the mix this season. Because if it’s a season full of NappyTabs & Tyce with two routines each every week, they’re gonna lose me quickly.

That’s the main reason that I’m actually not too sad to see her go. I’d like to see some new blood on the show. There are other fabulous choreographers working in the world right now, besides the 5 or 6 Nigel likes to use all the time.

Tyce is super annoying, and his broadway choreography is old and stale. I actually don’t know what Nappy/Tabs’ choreography would be called, but it sure as hell isn’t hip hop. They can try to make it seem like it by calling it lyrical hip hop or whatever. But it’s really just choreography that a bunch of untrained high school girls would come up with for the annual talent show. 3 pseudo-hip hop moves in a 90 second dance do not equal a hip hop routine.

I guess I’m one of the few who will seriously miss her judging. Sometimes I’d think she was off base and it made me see red (Mark, Natalie in Season 2, poor Jessica)

Yeah, these were just too much for me, I’m afraid. She annoyed me so much with these things that, even when I would periodically *think* that “yeah, Mia’s right on with that” or “that’s an interesting point of view,” I would flash back to what seemed to me her completely irrational blind prejudice against a few of the dancers, and I just couldn’t admit that I approved of anything at all she said!

That said, I would way way rather have Mia than, say, Tyce, for example. At least she has the dance chops to back up her arrogance.

Like you, I have a feeling the pimping and manipulation this season is gonna rival AI. Even though I didn’t agree with him, Adam DID have a prior disagreement with Nigel over a dancer (Danny, anyone?). But I can’t really remember anything since then.

We better have more Wade this season. How many couple pieces did he do last year? Just the crash test dummies and bank robbers? And he did two group dances, but still.

She’s a terrific choreographer, but her voice, cackle and ludicrous babbling ‘Hot tamale train!’  (really???) were beyond annoying.

Sometimes I’d think she was off base and it made me see red (Mark, Natalie in Season 2, poor Jessica) and sometimes I thought she was fearlessly dead on the money (her original critique of Brandon, IMO….I was actually sad that she backtracked) but she always had that potential to speak her mind, popularity and party line be damned. I’m not saying she wasn’t part of the script, but you know, you just never knew for sure. With Mia, Wade, BFree and Dan Karaty banished from the judges table in succession, we are left with Nigel and his lovable yes maan Shankers, wacky sidekick Mary, and Tyce, who plays the mean card without anything really insightful to say. I feel like some of the authenticity has left the building with Mia gone, and it’s going to get even more AI-ish with the pimping et all. *is sad*

Does anyone know the status of Wade? He was sorely underused last season, and I couldn’t help but notice that they didn’t pick any of his pieces to highlight in the finale.
