    Bo Bice just released a live cd/video project called I Love The Road on Bobice.com. Most of the songs are from his earlier albums, but there’s also an amazing version of In A Dream on it too.

    MJ, you forgot to mention Javier’s new single. The pre-order for his new album is on the front page of iTunes. Once you click through, you can buy the new single, “As Long as We Got Love feat. Natasha Beddingfield.” hmmm… and it almost has a country feel to it. Weird…

    The MWK EP is great value for the money, LJR – and Neal confirmed that Dallin Applebaum, Ryan Star’s keyboad player – is also on there, along with himself, Andy Skib, Kyle Peek and Joey Clement.

    I am really enjoying “With Me Empty” – the DNA Co-write –  it’s very different, just like David said it was. I wonder how they will deal with the vocals for a live performance – since there’s a vocal track in counterpoint to Andy’s main vocals on that song. On TLM, where something quite similar was done in “Let Me Fall For You”- Andy covered that part – so IDK how this will be worked out. Maybe Kyle? 

    Random thought #1 – Listening to the lyrics, I can see how this was written with TLM in mind –  Random thought #2 – ITunes has this in the Rock category – but if it had made the cut for TLM,  iTunes would have classified it as Pop. The same song, mostly the same musicians.  That’s just whack. 

    Also. At the moment, the “Fade into Me Video” is at #6 on iTunes, and the acoustic off-mic rendition last night in Cincinnati was out of this world. I was there.

    Just downloaded With Me Empty and oh yeah, I am impressed, very cool song so I’m kinda disappointed it didn’t make the cut on TLM; Andy sings okay but just is not in the same league as Cook who would have killed on this song – Oh well maybe he will “cover” it in some upcoming show – I can only hope!
     
    ETA: His off mic unplugged vocal on FIM last night was just off the wall crazy good, have that one on repeat this a.m. Just wow.

    Song trivia: the song was featured on private practice! Kate walsh even sang lines from the song! So cool although the duet wasn’t the one exactly used but keaton’s solo single.     I liked the Keatorn/Didi song too.  There’s a number of solo versions on youtube that are pretty interesting too.  And I was kind of proud that I recognized Keaton from Celebrity Rehab — Eric Roberts’ estranged stepson.

    That “Fade Into Me” at the Cinci show was unbelievable.  I was there also.  I forgot you were going to be at the show.  We missed our chance to meet.
