John Oliver teamed up with a few well-known artists to take a stand against the unauthorized use of pop songs at political rallies on Sunday’s episode of HBO’s Last Week Tonight.

Usher, Josh Groban, Michael Bolton, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson from Heart, Cyndi Lauper, Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, and Imagine DragonsDan Reynolds joined forces to plead with politicians to leave their dang songs alone.

“Stop using our music, that’s the one and only rule/We didn’t write these songs to make your campaign stop seem cool,” they sing.
