Agree 100%!! Maybe then these awards will get some class. Go Adele!

If it were just based on the song (“Rolling In the Deep”), I might agree that Adele should win. However, if you’re staying true to the “Video” aspect of the so-called “Video Music Awards,” I don’t think she should win at all. The music video for the song is fine…but basically she is just sitting in a chair and singing the entire time. Nothing very exciting, though the song is still incredible. I think Bruno Mars or Katy Perry should win, keeping in mind the VIDEO aspect as well (I admit, I’m very partial to Bruno Mars, though).

I have to say that I’m kind of happy Lady Gaga didn’t get anything major. Even though I (used to) love her, I think she needs a wake up call to tell her that her music lately hasn’t been that great…and that her constant dramatic act is overshadowing her talent.

I don’t think so. These awards are for videos. If it was based on song, vocal, or performance, then “Yes” Adele all the way. I can see Katy Perry taking these. IMO, her videos are really well done.

Hok of Quest Crew nominated for choreo in LMFAO’s video Party Rock!! Congrats! :)
My pick for Vid of the Year is Katy Perry (tho I liked Teenage Dream much more – song& vid) and Female Vid to Nicki Minaj “Super Bass”. Sorry Adele, hopefully the Grammys are a nice consolation. Heh.
