More So You Think You Can Dance Top 6 Spoilers

Woo hoo! Major yeah to the return of Bleeding Love!

I will be interested to actually see the show. The spoilers to me did not really give too much except that the judges were crazy over Brandon and Kayla (Oh shock). Think it is a little over the top that they give a standing ovation for a solo. It is a 30/45 sec dance. Do you think maybe they are letting you know who they want in the finals? I hope it does not backfire as this could be bad for Brandon if it seems he is being overly praised. I am sure he dance fantastic. But they never stood before for solos in the five years they have been on. Maybe they were standing because he was almost naked. lol

And it seem to me that the “source” was not an Evan fan. Did not really talk about him and said Melissa was better in the Broadway routine for him/her. (Not that anyone else said or thought the same.) Also saying the quicstep started out strong but then did not do so well. But his only comment is Melissa broke form. I find it hard to believe that Evan had a bad solo. But that is just me.

But what I have to remember is this line…”So according to this person” that says it all. Now bring on the real show.

Actually, I think they have stood for some solos. I remember pretty much everyone in the room standing for one of Danny’s solos. And, I also think Will’s funky James Brown inspired solo got a standing O.

Looking at the spoilers, it seems that Brandon’s solo just had a huge impact on the audience. So, the standing could have just been a natural reaction. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I’m excited to see the Emmy nominated dances. It’s fun to have all of those people back.

I’m looking forward to the Hip Hop. Hopefully, it’s one of NappyTab’s less lame routines. I think Ade is quite adept at that style, so hopefully he does well.

I also look forward to the Disco. I love the Disco routines because they’re usually really hard to do, fast paced and high energy. It gives you a good glimpse of what the dancers are really made of.

And of course, Lil C’s colorful use of multi-syllabic words is always fun to watch.

I think I remember them standing up for three solos before — Will, Danny, and Nick Lazzarini. So that would make four times in five seasons if I’m not having a hallucination. In the first three that I (think I!) remember, I didn’t think it was over the top, even though two of those guys (Will and Nick) were not my favorites.

I guess those “OMG NSFW” photos of Ade that Rickey linked to on his site yesterday weren’t that bad after all. I never got up the courage to look!

from reading those spoilers it seems like I’m in the minority that loves Lil C! Anyway, I’m realtively excited for at least one of each couple’s dances. (Broadway, Hip-Hop, Contemporary) so it should (hopefully) be an entertaining night. I am even more stoked to see the emmy nominated dances from last year, because I loved all of them the 1st time around!

Well, I told everyone last week that it looks like Brandon and Kayla will be the stars of the evening and, shocker, I was right.

Also a shocker…Melissa can’t hold form in a quickstep! Wouldn’t have guessed that either.

The way that the show goes down is pretty predictable at this point. The only thing unpredictable is who will go home! That’s the only thing that’s really keeping this season interesting for you, for me, dawg.

Hopefully, it’s one of NappyTab’s less lame routines.

I’m pretty sure there’s no way Melissa will get through this week. I think Ade may be toast as well (actually, I think he might be worse at ballroom than Evan…don’t throw things at me). That cha cha last week was the most pitiful thing I think I’ve seen this season. I’m not so sure on the guys though…despite heavy praise all season, Brandon landed in the B2 last week. It really could be any of the guys going home……..

And Nigel really, ew.

IMO choreographers for the finale will be:
-Mia,
-Wade,
-Dimitri and maybe Brian Friedman for the hip hop or somebody else???
I just hope Mandy will not choreograph anything because she is boring…

Oh, me too. I think he’s awesome. I love his descriptive language, and the way he veers off into his colorful analogies. Plus, Lil C clearly loves dance. He’s an enthusiastic participant in this process. And, when the kids move him, he’s not shy at all about telling them so.

Yes, the judges all stood for Danny’s final 4 solo. Ya kinda couldn’t help BUT to. I don’t really remember the Will solo you’re talking about, though. But I never really loved Will, so I probably wasn’t paying attention. lol.

Also a Lil C fan! He’s fun, and to think of him as the co-creator of Krump and then using these analogies….I just want him to dance or choreograph this year, and he hasn’t, has he?
