Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Sep 19-25

We have three milestones this week – all on the Country charts.

Season 4 American Idol winner Carrie Underwood hangs her “Dirty Laundry” in the top 30 of Country this week. She is a dependable chart topper and I expect this to song to reach the top 3 as well. Further down, we have our latest American Idol winner, Trent Harmon. He achieves top 40 with the debut single from his debut album. “There’s a Girl” is also a co-write of his. Finally, we have RaeLynn from the voice cracking the top 50 with “Love Triangle”.

We also need to mention the penultimate Idol Winner, Nick Fradiani since I should have noted last week that he moved onto the Pop chart with “All on You”. The song is also charting on HAC.

Drake is back. Back on top of the BB200 with “Views’ because he gets a lot of streaming numbers. It is his 13th non-consecutive week at the top. Former Voice coach Usher debuts at 5th.
