Monday Morning Mediabase Update : May 9-15

The big milestone this week is an Idol song hitting number 1. Mandisa’s debut single, “Stronger” off of her third album hitting reached the top of the CAC chart this week. Back in the day, Fred Bronson would generally update us on the total number of Idol number 1s on the Idol Chart Beat. It would be nice to get an update this week.

But, that is not our only milestone. Idol Judge, Jennifer Lopez reached number 5 on the Pop format with her “duet” with Pitbull – “On the floor”. Her “duet” with Lil Wayne reached top 40 on Rhythmic.

Season 3 winner, Fantasia’s song “Collard Greens and Cornbread” not only makes you hungry, but it also reached top 20 on the UAC chart.

Finally, we have the long awaited return of David Cook to the Mediabase Chart. He roared back in style reaching top 40 on AC and top 50 on HAC with his debut single (“Last Goodbye”) from his sophomore album.

Details after the jump! (as of 7:27 pm on 05/15/11).
