Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Jul 1-7

This week there are 5 milestones from 5 winners.

Let us start with the two Idol winners who went top 20. First up is our very first winner, Kelly Clarkson. “People Like Us” is her third single from her Greatest Hits album (“Catch My Breath” and “Don’t Rush” were the first two). The song went top 20 on AC and is currently top 40 on Pop and top 10 on HAC. Over on UAC, Fantasia’s “Without Me” also moves into the top 20. This is her second single from her fourth studio album and, of course, she won the third season of Idol.

Going top 30 this week is Season 11 Idol winner, Phillip Phillips. His second single “Gone, Gone, Gone” achieves top 30 on Pop. The song is top 10 on HAC and AC while previously having gone to number 1 on AAA.

Cassadee Pope, winner of the third season of “The Voice”, has her first solo top 40 song. Her “Wasting all These Tears” goes top 40 on Country.

Finally, also on Country, we have Kellie Pickler. Although she did not win Season 5 of Idol, she did win Dancing with the Stars. Her latest single “Someone Somewhere Tonight” climbs into to the 50.
