Michael Johns – Album and Single Due January/February 09

In an interview with The Morning Show from Australia, Michael Johns describes the big birthday bash thrown by his friends in the Hollywood Hills over the weekend. Michael turns 30 today. David Cook, David Archuleta and Brooke White all attended the party.

As far as that independently-produced album he’s been working on, Michael tells The Morning Show that he’s about halfway done and that recording should be finished by the end of November, with a single released in January/February, right around the time of the album release.

As an aside, Michael says that he wants to raise his children in Australia…

    Seems like MJ had a mini Idol reunion at his party. I just saw some pics of MJ, Cook and Jason so Jason must have been in town as well.

    ETA: There are some pics from MJ’s party here, but not many of the Idols. You can only see Brooke and Archie in the background of one.
