That would mean that MJ would have had to also had remembered to grab the placenta along with Paris, which would’ve been pretty stupid if he were in a rush. In addition, the placenta is often delivered 30 MINUTES TO TWO HOURS AFTER the baby is born (that’s why it’s also known as the “afterbirth”) and the cord is cut. Either the mom pushes it out or, in the case of a Cesarean, the surgeon(s) take it out (curretage). The doctors then must check it to make sure it is intact to prevent infecting the mom–placental infections can sometimes cause massive bleeding and even death.

I don’t understand why Martin Bashir, himself a father of three, didn’t call MJ on this gross fabrication–if even for the simple fact that, minus all of the biological detail I’ve provided above (sorry, I have a friend who’s a Bradley childbirth instructor LOL), MJ would’ve had to wait for Debbie to deliver the placenta or the doctors to remove it before “rushing out” so expeditiously with Paris. It would’ve been near impossible for him to be washing placenta from his daughter’s body at home if he were in such a rush; the placenta would most likely still be at the hospital.

Most likely is that MJ mistakened the vernix that usually covers a baby right after his/her birth for the placenta. Vernix is pretty nasty stuff, and if the delivery was a C-section, the baby probably had more of it on her (C-sections prevent the vernix from being “swabbed off” when the baby’s pushed through the birth canal in a vaginal delivery). It didn’t seem like MJ really had an indepth knowledge of childbirth when he was talking with Martin Bashir IMO, but that could just be a “guy thing.” I mean, ewww. Lions and tigers and vagina-side seating, oh my! :-p

How could this possibly happen? Paris had to be weighed and her APGAR score recorded. This is the physical examination of a newborn in the delivery room. A follow-up exam and score is done a short while later. It is my belief that Michael lied (or believed in his mind this happened). He was questioned twice about this because the baby cannot go home with placenta on her body.

If he lied about something so important as this, what else did he lie about?

It would be ideal if Janet raised the children with the Nanny’s help AND visitation rights would be given to Debbie. That would require a lot of love and cooperation from all involved!

Michael Jackson during the Off the Wall period was a good looking, sexy black man to me. Perhaps he’d already had some initial surgery done. If he had left it there, he’d have been fine IMO.

I will always love MJ’s music and be awed by his talent. I just wish he could’ve gone out on a high note – even if it was just one successful show on his new tour.

The structure of one’s nose and lips is part of your ethnicity or race. You can choose to alter your appearance in a myriad of ways. If he had vitiligo or lupus that affected his skin colour there are different ways to deal with that loss of pigment. Of course whenever you are the cute child star and you go through the awkwardness of adolescence in the public eye, that is always very difficult even if you don’t have a brutal father. Was MJ trying to look like a white man, Dianna Ross, Liza Minelli, Elizabeth Taylor, a combination of the three, one of his sisters or a white woman? I am confusing myself now.

Of course he is “passing” out information to the press that he is still “in charge” and that he is entitled to everything “Michael” since he created him both physically and musically. I think, we as hopefully intelligent viewers, are smart enough to realize that pretty much everything he is saying are the rantings of a bitter and obviously imbalanced old man.

It will take some time to “sort” out Michael’s estate…but considering their are 3 children, 9 siblings, and a mother that have some say in what is going on I don’t think that in the long run “dear papa Joseph” will have much leverage.

I don’t think it was his black heritage he was trying to erase. I think he hated the way he looked. He made comments about feeling disgusted by his skin (acne and uneven color) and facial structure (his nose and lips) and the attacks by his father against his appearance when he was going through adolescence just made things worse. And I don’t believe he chose not to have biological children; I believe he was incapable of it. I don’t think his color was an issue. Didn’t he say in Black and White: “I’m not going to spend my life being a color”? Well, actually, it’s the rap with the song, but still.

It is absolutely disgusting and pathetic that the public are grasping on to the horrible stories of Michael.

I know. Once something is on the internet people pick it up and it all of a sudden becomes “fact”. I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. The rumors are so crazy, I can only believe those who believe them WANT to believe them. It has to be a mental thing. lol

MJ did not erase his black heritage at all. He was a pioneer for us. He was the first black artist on shows such as MTV. He broke down barriers and brought people together with his music, which is why he is beloved all over the world. Its just not that he was a musical genius, but his humanitarian efforts, and the way he helped people is commendable.

As far as the reports that the stories about Michael have been wrong is not a surprise. I don’t know how anyone could even believe those. The media has been making stuff up on MJ for years, so its not surprising they continue to lie after his death.
