Melissa Rycroft Released From the Hospital (UPDATED)

ETA: According to E News, Melissa may not dance tonight. The decision will be made at show time, 8/7c pm.

“Melissa Rycroft suffered an on set injury during yesterday’s Sunday camera blocking rehearsal and was immediately taken to the hospital,” a rep for ABC tells us. “We can confirm Melissa was diagnosed with a disc herniation at the C4-C5 level of her cervical spine. At this time, Melissa’s ability to perform in tonight’s show will be a show time decision.”

Dancing with the Stars all star, Melissa Rycroft, suffered a head and neck injury on Sunday while rehearsing the Tango with her partner Tony Dovolani.

“Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined,” Rycroft’s rep told People. “She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani. Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time.”

But, Melissa’s rep tells E News that she has since been released from the hospital.

Melissa  tweeted, “Just FYI – You can vote for DWTS this Monday AND TUESDAY!! Tony and I actually dance our guilty pleasure first on TUESDAY!! :-) ”

DWTS is cut short to one hour tonight due to the 3rd presidential debate airing at 9 ET. The couples will dance again on Tuesday. There will be no eliminations until next week.
