Seriously, she is probably THE best vocalist who graced the Idol stage, I LOVED her so much, I was so angry when she got voted off. I WOULD go back in time and vote for her, although it might cause some weird paradox where Kris doesn't get as far as he did and that just won't do for me >_>. But if it didn't change things, she'd be my second favorite Idol winner :P. Probably in my top 5 favorite Idol contestants of all time, but the WGWG thing keeps hitting me. Now I'm trying to think of my real top 5 contestants to see if she's really there >_>. I'm a little disappointed because I'm not the biggest fan of musicals and she only has one album out, but I'd go see this to show her some support, and it could change my opinion of musicals. No offense to Jordin, but not everyday you can find a someone as talented and as different as Melinda. While I do like Jordin as a person she was exactly what the show wanted someone who has been groomed bubbly cutesy contestant that knows exactly waht to say what to sing and everything else. Melinda was that fighting contestant that took more chances and worked harder than anyone else not to mention her voice is amazing. I remember during the season ppl were debating about Blake/Jordin being in the finals over Melinda because they were younger and more marketable than Melinda but looking at it now are either of them actually them that successful. Jordin has done fine since winning but honelty she has a very limited fanbase and that can only go so far, she has to take more risks with her music if she wants to reach a bigger audience. They really should've offered Melinda a record deal and it's too bad the record she did put out the show didn't even try to help with that in anyway. I just hope Melinda becomes a huge star one day because she really deserves it, the true winner of American Idol Season 6.
