Love, love, love, Melinda Doolittle. She is still my favorite from Season 6 and still what I consider the best voice to come out of AI.

Great stage presence. This is where Melinda belongs – the next great Broadway star.

She was great… I loved her too, and she was Simon’s fav. She is where she belongs though, not on the charts. She is a great singer!

Go Melinda! I have the Joseph soundtrack with Laurie Beechman as the narrator, and I wasn’t sure if I could like another as much as her, but Melinda is awesome!I hope this show tours the country
( or at least Northeastern Ca!)

Melinda was absolutely my pick for Season 6. Her performance of “My Funny Valentine” was one of the best ever on AI. I hope to see her moving up to the much bigger and better things she so deserves.

Melinda is absolutely incredible. Not only does she have an amazing voice, check out her diction, her acting, and her stage presence. If you have not checked out her CD,Coming Back to You, you are missing a delightful musical extravaganza!!

To this day, I don’t get Melinda. I know, she’s got the “perfect” voice and she’s an awfully saintly woman but I just don’t like her singing. Don’t like the heavy vibrato of her voice, don’t like her exaggerated movements. She always seems like someone who should be acting and singing on The Electric Company or Sesame Street. The once or twice that Lakisha hit it [This Ain't a Love Song, for example] gave me goosebumps. Melinda – never.
