Scary Spice was hospitalized. UPDATED!
Bad news for all fans of Scary Spice Mel B.
The X Factor held a press conference on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s finale. What everyone immediately noticed was the absence of Andrea Faustini’s mentor, Mel B. Simon Cowell and his acts Ben Haenow and Fleur East took the first couch and Andrea Faustini was joined by act-less Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh on the other couch.
Yesterday evening, the tabloid reporters tweeted that Mel B didn’t show up for Friday’s dress rehearsals either. Then it was reported that Mel B is seriously ill and was taken into hospital. Her chances of being well enough for tonight’s final were reportedly slim – about 10%. Mel B hasn’t spoken to her act Andrea Faustini since Tuesday when she joined him for cancer charity concert.
The X Factor released press pictures of the the remaining three judges ahead of the final. The photos were taken on Thursday, right before or after the press conference.
This morning, the tabloids report that Mel B will indeed miss tonight’s show. Former X Factor judge Tulisa was called in to replace her on the judging panel tonight and possibly tomorrow, too. Tulisa isn’t hiding her ambition to get her seat next to Louis Walsh back permanently.

Sick Mel B was being treated in hospital last night for a mystery illness – just hours before this weekend’s X Factor final.
The Spice Girl, 39, is “seriously ill” and being kept in overnight for further tests after spending the day being treated on a private ward.
Insiders said there was a “90% chance” she would not be on tomorrow’s X Factor as contestants Andrea Faustini, Fleur East and Ben Haenow head into the final weekend.
A source close to Mel confirmed: “She is in hospital and is seriously ill.
“We are awaiting the result of tests and then we will know exactly what is wrong.
“If I had to predict it, having seen her, I don’t think she will be able to do the show.
“Miracles do happen and the doctors may say she is well enough to leave but, looking at her, I would be amazed if that happens.”

Singer Tulisa Contostavlos will make a sensational return to the X Factor’s judging panel tonight after Mel B was rushed to hospital.
The former N-Dubz star was asked by Simon Cowell to take over on Friday when it emerged that Mel, 39, was too ill to take part.
Tulisa, 26, appeared on the panel for two series but was axed for the 2013 show and was replaced by Sharon Osbourne.

Now Tulisa, who last appeared as a judge on the talent contest’s live shows in 2012, is set for a sensational return.

Tabloids are now reporting Mel B might be suffering from stomach ulcer. Her estranged family is worried for her and is pleading for information on Twitter. I expect Tulisa on the judging panel tonight, but Daily Mail reports that Mel B might appear.

Mel B is reportedly receiving treatment for a suspected stomach ulcer after being rushed to hospital prior to an X Factor press conference and rehearsal session on Thursday afternoon.
The 39-year-old is believed to be in a stable condition in the high dependency unit – one level below intensive care – after stomach pains left her ‘screaming in agony’ shortly after she departed for Wembley’s SSE Arena in a chauffeur driven car.
Sources told The Sun on Sunday that her quick-thinking driver raced to an undisclosed hospital, where Mel is thought to be undergoing tests for ulcers and viruses in a bid to determine the exact cause of her sudden illness.

It’s the X Factor final on Sunday night but it is still not known if Mel B will be present.
She was reportedly rushed to hospital with a suspected stomach ulcer and missed Saturday night’s show, which saw her last remaining act, Andrea Faustini leave the competition in third place.
A spokesperson for the star told MailOnline when asked if Mel would be back for the last programme: ‘We’re not sure yet.’

Mel B back for the Final
Mel B will be back on the panel for tonight’s Final.
After being discharged from hospital and following medical advice Mel has been deemed well enough to be on the show.
We’re delighted to have her back.
