What’s with the head scarf and short hair? Has she been ill?

Whoa, I remember watching that interview and thinking they were cute together – it’s crazy now that they actually are! (Maybe they were then too, who knows)

I’m happy Megan’s happy and her ring is lovely. However, the news I’m most excited about is music yay! I think her originals are so fun and interesting musically and lyrically. Can’t wait to own them :)

She cut her hair awhile ago. I think she really changed up her look after idol going back to brunette instead of blond and short hair instead of long. I’d guess the scarf is just for fashion.

Oh good. I’m glad she hasn’t been sick. And now I can freely say how ugly that scarf is, lol.

I don’t know the guy, but his band name rings a bell. I looked them up on iTunes, and yes, it is the band I was thinking of. David Cook listed them as one of his favorite bands/bands that influenced him, way back right after Idol. Pretty Handsome Awkward was the song he mentioned. Their music isn’t my thing, but… it’s a pretty small world, huh? I wonder how Megan and he met? Pretty cool for her to meet, let alone fall in love with, someone already established in the biz.

I am looking forward to her album. I liked the songs she tweeted many moons ago, so will definitely get her cd when it comes out!

Don’t love the scarf, but congratulations to Megan on her engagement.

And I look forward to seeing her release her music and get out performing, liked most of the songs she posted to her FB/MySpace very much. Hope she has found a good label that will back her, some of her season-mates have had rough times with that.

This could leave Lil Rounds as the only S8er who hasn’t yet found a way to put out some post-AI music.

Megan is engaged to Quinn!!!? I don’t know that they’re an item! (Not that I follow The Used that closely…) Anyway, fandoms collide! Hahaha!

I have a feeling she just grabbed that scarf to cover her unfixed hair because the guy made the proposal just right after waking-up. If I am not mistaken, her daughter is still wearing her pyjama and her fiancé’s hair is obviously the way it looked after getting out of bed.

Congrats to Megan Joy and Quinn! I’m happy for her and I’m looking forward to hearing who she’s signing with and her album.

I like the scarf and if that is how she looks waking up, more power to her. Also, when did her son become a girl? lol He’s really grown a lot since she was on Idol.

I’m always worried when there is no buzz from an Idol contestant, no gigs, no youtube vids or music thrown out there, and then suddenly he/she goes “Surprise! a recording contract!” And I am like, “uh, do the future powers that be know that the artist’s AI buzz has been dead from a long time, and they’ll need the unknown-artist promo package to succeed?”

Megan’s been putting out some music via her Facebook and MySpace off and on for a while, and occasional videos. Not getting huge visibility of course, but she’s not been off the scene entirely. And she’s done pretty well in tweeting/etc to keep in touch with some of her AI fans.

Hmmmmm. I was curious so I googled to see if Quinn Allman is related to the Allman Bros. and all I found is that Cha-cha says yes. But it didn’t say how. That’s a pretty awesome musical family though.

Thanks to Steph6449, I absolutely will be buying Megan’s music if she puts any out. I wasn’t a big Megan fan, as she doesn’t have much of a range to her voice. But thought she performed pretty well at the AI concert that I attended, which was later during the AI8 tour. Steph linked me up with Megan’s MySpace (?) page, where I listened to maybe half a dozen tracks that Megan wrote and sang. I did a total 180. Megan knows her voice and what she can and cannot do, and she is singing songs that are well-suited to her.

I think there is a niche for Megan, and I really hope someone will put out her music. Hmm? I guess that makes me a Megan fan after all!

Okay, I wrote my last post before I listened to the video, lol. Megan is getting better and better. Really enjoyed her version of “Santa Baby.” Like it better than Kellie Pickler’s version (although Kellie did a nice job, too). Hope Megan really does get to put some music out.

Pretty cool that he is from The Used. My kids love them. I actually kind of do too. I just know who the lead singer is- Bert McCracken- he used to date Kelly Osbourne. If anyone wants to check them out, The Worm And The Bird is one of their more well known songs. There is also a duet with Bert and Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance of Under Pressure thats pretty cool too.

For what it’s worth, all the photos are flipped. Her tattoo sleeve is on her right arm, not left. A woman (at least in the USA) wears her engagement ring on her left hand, not right (and again you can see her tattoo sleeve incorrectly depicted on her left arm).

Nice to see things going Megan’s way. I was wondering when she’d get signed. The stuff she’s been putting out the past two years has sounded pretty good.

i love her! she’s one of my most fave A.I contestants. she’s very unique. I wish her luck on her album and tour and on her love life. I always like megan and kris allen to be together..LOL! but yeah i know kris is already married. Good luck megan..so happy for you!
