I expected nothing less. He's such an amazing talent, just pure and raw. I've never seen a more versatile singer and musician. He can sing any genre and make you feel the emotions. I was so sad he wasn't on the show last night. But I was partly glad too because I knew that, had he been there, he would have been the judges' punching bag despite a beautiful soulful piano rock rendition of "The Simple Man" that he was planning to do for Rock week. They just couldn't appreciate his versatility, forcing him into a box and crushing his confidence. Matt's better off in the real world. And yes, this humble, talented young man has modest dreams that he will easily achieve, but bigger things are in store for his future! Keep living your dreams, Matt!
