Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud are doing the satellite interview thing this morning–both are involved with and promoting the new Oreo Cakesters jingle contest.

It goes like this: Write the winning jingle, and you’ll get to meet Matt and Anoop, and maybe get your jingle played on the radio. More info here. Pretty lulzworthy stuff!

Plus, Matt tells the Grand Rapids peeps that he was very excited to run into Andrew Garcia and a few of the other Season 9 guys at an LA mall recently… (they even took a photo!)

    Heehee i loved Anoop and Matt during last season…Now i have new faves like Andrew and Siobhan and Casey..

    It does seem like Andrew and Lee are pretty close. There was another clip of them practicing their songs on their guitar together..How sweet. Brotherhood. Nice to see them sticking together. Rock on acoustic kings!!

    This is a bigger deal than I thought when I originally heard about it. It's cool that such a large company chose these guys to represent them…even if it's just a jingle contest.
    Plus Matt and Anoop are getting a chance to promote their music as well: Matt's jazz single duet "You Don't Know Me" released last month and Anoop's "My Name" single coming out March 23rd.
