So cool, for Danny!  And he will do great modeling this new frame line! Especially based on the great look and shape he’s in from his last photo shoot.

  • callmecrazy

Good for him.  Wow, I must say that Danny is looking good.

Good for Danny, he’s been working toward this for quite a while.

Great news for Danny.  This is something he has been talking about.

Aw, congrats Danny!  I know he has wanted this for a long time, so happy it has come true for him.

Wonder if he really designs the frames himself?  Or just puts his stamp of approval/name on something a designer comes up with?

    Not sure how that works…..

  • Indigobunting

He really has come a long way from his cute, but slightly chubby Idol adorkable self.

I’m always surprised at how small most Idol alum are when you meet them in person; and also that they are usually more attractive than their photos.

Just saw this, aww; don’t know who is more adorable-Danny or the little girl:

As someone who was blind as a bat before Lasik surgery, I sincerely hope that Danny emphasizes diversity in frame type, shape, size, and color.

The last time I had purchased frames, it took shopping at twelve stores before I found something even remotely suitable.

Fashion is fine, but not when it is a brutal dictator.  I remember the days of the super big frames that swallowed peoples’ faces, and the itty bitty frames that looked weird and didn’t provide much viewing range.  Eyewear fashion is not like clothing fashion: people who wear glasses are often totally dependent on them.  (Clothing fashion may change regularly, but usually there are classic designs always available.)  People come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and preferences, and frame selection ought to reflect that diversity.

I now have prescription reading glasses, so I will be interested in Danny’s frames when he comes out with a women’s line.

The wholesale prices seem reasonable, but I don’t know how much of a markup there is on the retail prices.  Hopefully, the frames are still affordable for most people.

Good job, Danny!  Hope they sell like hotcakes!

Congratulations to Gokey! Nothing like a dream coming to fruition.

I think eyewear styles have become more representative of everyone over the past few years.  I’ve worn glasses for years and actually did well with a pair I ordered online.  They’re not top quality, but they’re great as a second pair.

I’m glad to see the reasonable prices for Danny’s frames.  Those darned things are SO expensive!
