American Idol judge, Mariah Carey, did a little bit of singing at the NFL Pregame show on NBC tonight. It was her NEW SINGLE, she was performing, but it took her over a minute and a half to appear on stage while a dude rapped and videos of Mimi flashed on the big screens at 30 Rock where the concert took place.
When Mariah finally appeared, there was some over dubbed singing, and a few forays into that famous whistle register and that was it. Not a whole lotta heavy lifting going on there. Does singing your own songs become unnecessary when one passes into the realm of legendary pop star?
