Looking for a Blog Reporter to Spoil Tomorrow’s Dress Rehearsal!

My choices for the contestants:

Adam: Super Massive Blackhole- Muse. I listened to this for the first time and thought, this sounds like it was written for Adam.

Anoop: Mad- NeYo. He should definitely do something r&b or hip hop if not this song.

Allison: The Climb- Miley Cyrus. I know what youà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re thinking. Miley Cyrus???? But listen to it closely. It actually would suit Allisonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s voice than Mileyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s.

Danny: Donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t Stop Believing- Journey. I know ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s not à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“currentà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , which is probably what they were trying to do when the producers chose this theme, but i think Danny could totally rock out on this. (yes, its on the list!)

Kris: Lucky- Jason Mraz ft. Colbie Caillat. Another case where it sounds like it was written for him.

Lil: Halo- Beyonce. I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t think this will be a good week for Lil no matter what she does, but this is her best option.

Matt: You Found Me- The Fray. On the other hand, Matt has a whole lot of songs he could sing perfectly.

Megan: Chasing Pavements- ADELE. I think if she works on the pitch problems of last week, Megan could shine with this one.

Scott: Forever- Rascal Flatts. It was really hard to find a song for Scott. I guess it doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t matter because whatever he does, I guarantee you, this will be his last week on American Idol.

Anoop may also go for a Britney song as he has done in the past (my perogative)à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ but I think that may be a trick that only works once.

People do know that “My Prerogative” was a cover, right? XD

I’ve seen so many people (on other sites) saying “I can’t believe he sang a Britney Spears song!” I’m like “um, actually…” lol

I hope Megan doesn’t sing Adele. First off, it would be safe, in my opinion, for her to sing a song from a “sound alike” singer (not to say Megan in ANY WAY compares to Adele…just that they somewhat have similar tones). She needs to take a song that is totally different and make it her own. So far, she’s just done a good job (well…) with songs that are just kinda already in her style. Secondly, as I said before, Megan does not compare to Adele and I’m not sure she’d come out looking too good.

…on second thought, go ahead, Megan!

I hope you find someone, Mj. I probably shouldn’t need to know but I must admit to loving the spoilers.

JoesPlace says they have a friend attending dress rehearsals today. Maybe you two can connect. Last week she had trouble posting them because her page was overrun with traffic.

Hopefully JoesPlace will let the spoilers be posted here. I know she likes hits to her blog, but everytime I try to go there, my computer security program warns me away from it.

@whosefanryou and snuffles: There shouldn’t be anything dangerous on JoesPlace per se — perhaps your computer security program is warning you away from the site because of its plethora of ads. In that case, try getting yourself AdBlock if you don’t have it already. I guess my point is that the site should be safe. That being said, maybe my firewall is just crappy and doesn’t detect that kind of stuff…

I went to joesplace today and some funk was definitely downloaded to my computer – my work computer even, which is supposed to be highly protected. You can’t see what’s been downloaded, but you can see all of these executables running when you click on the processes tab in the task manager. Our tech guy called them “services.” I would never have known this happened if my virus protection hadn’t caught it. Now I’m worried I might have done this on my home computer and never knew it. Now I’ve been using a painfully slow computer all day while we run a complete scan of my computer. If you’ve been to the site, I’d definitely run a virus scan just to be safe. That will teach me to surf for american idol info at work

I can’t go back there so hopefully someone can post the spoilers here!

sorry hazy, I don’t remember. there were so many processes with various meaningless names.
