Lee DeWyze performed “Sweet Serendipity” on the Today Show this morning. This little ditty is really growing on me!
He also performed “It’s Gotta Be Love” so we’ll keep an eye on the Today show site for that performance.
Lee’s got a week full of appearances to promote his new album, Live It Up, available everywhere tomorrow.
Tuesday, it’s a stop at Regis and Kelly, Thursday he’ll appear on the Ellen Degeneres show and on Friday, Lee heads to Memphis to “flip the switch” to turn on the Christmas lights at Graceland.

UPDATE: Lee isn’t the only Idol to write most of his post-Idol debut. The PR talking points were hella misleading in the interview, but that’s nothing new. Lee’s peeps seem to be trying to position him as a credible singer songwriter. So what if the attempts slag off past Idols in the process? (I’m being sarcastic). But, it happens every year. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
