Lee DeWyze posted another NEW song for his fans recently. The tune is called “Bedroom Door” and maybe he’ll perform it again when he does his second StageIt show on September 25. You can get details on the new show at this link.

The Season 9 Idol winner also promises New Music, shows, etc are “coming your way soon.”

Yay, more new music from Lee! He really has a gift for these beautiful folky songs.

    Very pretty song.

This song makes me tear up-Lee’s songs really make me feel the emotions he is singing about. He has said he wants his music to remind people of things in their own lives.
Lee is a really fine songwriter; he wrote his preIdol songs with no cowriters. He’s gotten even better as he’s written with so many different people.
His song Lullaby is on Ronan Keating’s new album that debuted in the UK Monday and there have been lots of tweets from Ronan’s fans about how much they love the song. Ronan must love it, too-he also included a second version of Lullaby as a bonus song.

Lee is certainly busy these days, writing music for his fans, great music, I might add. I cannot wait to see him perform live again. Meanwhile, I am so grateful that he is doing the StageIt concerts.

Wow, I don’t know where to start . . . Do I start with the fact that he does SO much for his fans; between tweeting & posting video?. Or how about the fact that he is writing some awesome new music; not only for himself, but for other artists?  Of course I can’t overlook the fact of “that voice” . . . . damn!! Lee is in a great place vocally, musically, professionally & personally.  So happy to see wonderful things happening to a really great guy!

As a fan of music, I have always been drawn to Lee’s-the stories, the tones & textures of his voice, the highs and lows of the emotions his work evokes -remarkable for someone so young.  The new music he has been introducing – from the Fight (for charity) with its hook that you can’t get out of your head, & You Don’t Know Me ‘s Kiss my a$$ attitude, to this heart wrenching song that reaches way down and touches you with nothing but 6 strings, killer lyrics & his voice – show the depth and the variety of his gift for songwriting, amazing even me.

These sneak peaks have me so excited for what’s behind door number 2-music saved for the album!

I love this new “southern” song (as Lee calls it), makes me wonder if he wrote it when he was in Nashville.  Lee does have a gift for telling a story through his songs. I hope he sings this again on his Sept. 25 StageIt show. Can’t wait for his new album and tour. I’m also still crossing my fingers that he’ll still push through with the acoustic EP he mentioned before – I found his tweet from a few months back and Bedroom Door is one of the songs he recorded for it, along with Open Your Eyes and Breathing In (I love those songs too!).

“Finished up my acoustic songs for you guys today! Breathing In, Open Your Eyes, & Bedroom Door :)”

A seriously beautiful song. So grateful always for Lee sharing his music with us all, can’t wait for his new album, we know its going to be totally all LEE just the way we love it !

Thanks for finding that tweet about the acoustic songs. I think Lee tweeted in a TP recently that the EP will be released. Maybe bonus songs for pre-ordering new CD or something? Just hope its soon!

Lee’s passion in song translates from his heart to ours with meaningful lyrics that touch so deeply they become a part of who we are…we are grateful! Thanks Lee!!
