Latest Outage – I Know This is Getting Ridiculous…

This was a different sort of problem this morning than past problems.

My host provider contacted me around 8:30 EST to tell me I was experiencing a denial of service attack.

Somebody hates me?

    If you actually have any patience left then that in itself is a miracle. lol Things were running so smooth last night that it almost seemed like a dream. Heh. It’s hard to believe that some people would stoop that low to bring down the site but there are crazies everywhere. lol

    It is happening all over the internet for the past week or so. It isn’t just this site. Ebay was slower than dirt. My DSL provider was slower than dirt (Embarq so not a small company).

    Is this the reason we no longer have the Recent Posts linked on the left? I read about the Comments links and was sad to see them go. But, now the Recent Posts too? :-(

    We still love you, MJ, even if the site is becoming a bit more difficult to navigate. Anything worth having is worth working for. :-)
