ETA: Congratulations are in order! Lakisha is pregnant with her second child, due in August. Lakisha was married to financial advisor, Larry Davis, last October.

Season 6 Idol contestant, Lakisha Jones, just released her new single “Let’s Celebrate” for download. Listen to a stream of the single HERE.

Lakisha’s upcoming album, So Glad I’m Me, is set for a May 19 release.

    Well, there’s a lot more production in that song than I typically enjoy, but she’s got a great voice.

    When is this auto-tuning fad going to be over? I don’t understand why even those with great voices (Lakisha, Kelly) have to be auto-tuned to death. Seriously, Cher’s “Believe” came out in, what, 1998? Can we move on to something new?

    That was painful. I couldn’t listen to all of it. She has a voice that is too good for that material.

    I must be a really bad AI fan because I watched season 6 but for the life of me I can’t remember LaKisha. I remember her name but not her, don’t even recognise the face.
    The song is horrible.
