Holy shit was that hot. Drop dead gorgeous KLC bagging a buck, wearing tight ass jeans, and then singing her song beautifully.

    Negativo is drooling.

All these comments and not one mention of her hair color? You guys are slippin’. Lol

Aww. I mentioned it. (12:36) No one answered so I thought maybe it was just an optical illusion, lol. But did look a lot darker in the hunting shots vs. in the studio/performance bits.
ETA: also I thought that must mean no one else was as superficial as I was ;)

I remember an interview with KLC back immediately post-AI and she talked about the economics of paying $14 for a hunting license and her family having the meat to eat for months, versus going to the grocery store and buying the meat for a lot more $$. Pretty sure she eats what she kills.

This is disgusting. I’m glad MJ posted this clip because if you ever needed a reason to dislike someone for something other than her singing…

Talk about trash. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE COME AND TAKE OUT THE WHITE TRASH? I got some right here in this clip.

ECSTATIC about killing something? Not for survival or food? FOR FUN??? For SPORT? Please. I am going to be sick.

KLC now kills two things: deer AND music. Feh.

There are roughly 30-50 million hunters in the US. The money these hunters spend in deer hunting licenses go towards wildlife conservation and education. There are many TV shows that cater to the hunting/fishing crowd, on networks like the Outdoor channel, so the interst in these shows do exist. The vast majority of hunters eat their kill or donate the meat.

Yes, Kristi was excited and happy about her kill, hunting takes skill, endurance and focus. A hunter could go a lifetime and not see a trophy buck as nice as the one she shot.

Many people may not condone hunting but it exists because it is necessary and it is humane. You are not forced to watch it.

PETA and other animal rights activists would have you think that every animal should be allowed to live but are they the ones who are going to feed all these deer when they overpopulate? NO, the deer will be left to starve, be killed by vehicles and eat your begonias.

It’s one thing to kill animals because u want to survive, but it’s a whole nother thing to kill for sports. the girl is killing animals for entertainment, she wants to have one “bigger than Andy’s!.” Is that the way to encourage appreciation for nature and outdoor activities?! fuck that, i am never ever buying anything of hers, related to her again. Never!

Since there was a lot of discussion back and forth about KLC’s motives, what happened to the game she got, etc., just pointing out that mj’s Headlines this morning included an interview/profile of her that may provide more context on the hunting and tv show. It also talks about her efforts to score a record deal again.

Since hearing about her show, plenty of fans have confronted Cook about their opposition to the killing of animals for sport. She greets their attacks with the pragmatism of a hunter.

“I never used to like killing animals until I got out and experienced it. It’s the food chain. Animals are here for us to eat. In my family we grew up without a lot of money so I take all this meat home and anything that’s left we give to homeless shelters or orphanages so all the meat is going somewhere and I get to feed all these people,” Cook says.

“Plus, now I know if anything were to happen in this world I know I would be ok because I can shoot my own animals,” she laughed to Fox 411.
