I can't explain it better than that, it's just who she is, not what genre she thinks she would be profitable in. Her songs are credible. Her voice is distinct. I know who she is the moment I hear her voice. That matters to me. Kristy's voice is so generic that the song would have to be stellar for me to take notice. Sadly, it's not.
