She came across very articulate, poised - I would even say of all the interviews, she gave the most complete answers, not like pulling teeth from some of them. I believe her about GBTU. When she was talking about her dad being in Viet Nam, she said it was one of his favorite songs. She had sung it before many times and had performed well with it. It just happened to be in her birth year. You can go on youtube and see her old performances singing GBTU. My opinion after hearing her Thursday, is that she doesn't mince words, she is confident in the country genre and will probably do real well there! Bean, I was a part of the interview. Of course it was just like Haley wearing short dresses/shorts last season. I also thinks she's crazy if she thinks that "8 Days a Week" wasn't a disaster. It ranks up there with the worst AI performances ever for me. I do give her kudos for doing her exit song in Simon's face but have to say this interview didn't endear her to me. They messed her over the same way they messed over Jason with Michelle. They were just too loud and aggressive.
