This song sounds exactly like a ‘Kris song’ to me ‘â€œ which leads me to wonder, are the other tracks going to be similar, or will they take it into other directions ‘â€œ and if so, where? I actually think that any song that Kris does will be a Kris song, I mean he makes it a Kris song, who would have guessed that Kayne’s Heartless or Donna Summer’s SWHFTM would become Kris songs…

After the tour, it’s difficult for me to go back to the songs that he sang and not imagine them as being his…

iTunes released The Script’s “Before The Worst” as their free Single of the Week on 11/12/2008. Go check your iTunes; you may have it in there. I find stuff all the time I didn’t remember downloading! (It’s a good song, BTW.)

So, you see, The Script is already benefiting from this association. Exactly what TPTB wanted as The Script is under the RCA umbrella. It also benefits Kris giving him an identifiable musical genre. Whether we want to believe it or not, TPTB on occassion know what they’re doing. I’m as excited as Michael S. and Jim C. right about now.

ok, I’ve to admit that initially I was in the “disappointed” camp because he’s doing a cover. BUT I’ve changed my views after reading all those critics’ reviews and fans’ comments. To me, it does not matter that it is a cover anymore as long as it SELLS. I believe that his record label must have given a lot of thought process before deciding to make this his single. A single might not be the best song from the album but must have that kind of catchy hook which is why this song has great potential to be a radio hit. I’m feeling extremely optimistic that there will be great songs on his album.

Boy I hardly every tryed alot of new singers until Idol. It’s crazy how a reality show can make people so crazy.

I was really into music back in the 70s and 80s, then didn’t pay much attention to new stuff in the 90s. It wasn’t till the 2nd season of AI (and 1st season of CI) that I started checking out new artists again.

For all the criticism of the Idol format (much of it valid), it HAS helped re-kindle my interest in pop and rock music.

Z100 is the favorite of my daughters. I love 101.5 We’re always arguing about what station to listen to. Love my Jersey guys. Oh well. My 14 year old daughter and I liked Kris’ song a lot! Hoping the best for him!!

Yeah Kris doesn’t sound like Danny. I still don’t want to listen too there verison of llwd until after Kris sing’s his verison, but afterwards I think I well.
