I know it would have been great for Kris to have just one producer but from all the interviews I’ve read, I think, Andrew Frampton and Steve Kipner were the one of the first producers thrown his way. And I’m NGL! I’m SOOO relieved these guys did not produce the entire album — Two songs are ENOUGH! – Kris didn’t even get to collaborate on either.

I adore LLWD, so catchy! but I just can’t wait for Kris to get as far away as he can from the SCRIPT (no offence to Script fans, I’m sure they’re great)

And I just feel there are gonna be other songs on his album that are thousand times better than LLWD.

I had a big smile on my face the whole time I was watching this interview. Kris was adorable and it was great to see how happy he was about his album and putting together a band.

It must have been a huge thrill for Kris that someone like Mike Flynn, who had produced some big hits, loved one of his original songs and wanted to produce it for the album.

I do wish Lyndsey had asked him about what prompted the change from having one producer to multiple producers. But she might not have been aware of that old interview with Brian Mansfield.

Great interview. He seems relaxed and generally happy with the album plus how much of his stuff made the cut.

Good grief. Another Kris topic that ends up full of runner-up’s fan snipping because Kris was asked about “*d*m” and wasn’t gushing during an interview about his own debut album!

Actually I think it was a bit rude of Lyndsey for asking about Adam & Allison in this context. You get an exclusive first listen and interview with the winner to talk about each track of the just completed album and bring up other former contestants? No class. This was Kris’ moment and should’ve been all his.

I really liked this whole interview. It was great hearing Kris talking about so many of the individual songs, the background in making them and sometimes his intent with them. I also liked the conversation with Lyndsey on the different kind of sounds of the song with Kris. Kind of gives one an idea of what they might sound like, which is great. Plus some fun moments put in, like the stuff about the “can’t say no to teenage girls,” and the earlier bit with the Hello Kitty note pad. And I can’t lie, I’m like Lyndsey, I enjoy the Kradison stuff and how they’re remaining friendly and supporting each other.

So yeah, this interview was pretty much made out of win. Score one for Lyndsey, and cool for Kris to creating this album and having as much input as he seems to. I hope it’s a good album and does well for him. At the least this interiew really increased my desire to hear this album.

Aha. That makes sense. It really felt like Kris was addressing something by saying that, and if people were bullying him on twitter about TFM, that’s sadz. I’m not sure why there needs to be such idol to idol parity, honestly, and I would have been fine if Kris never tweeted or said a word about Adam (or vice versa), unless he was asked. I hope Lyndsey doesn’t bring up “Kradison” in her interviews with each of them, in turn.

happycat14′s statement reminds me that for the past few weeks some people have been spamming Kris’ on twitter demanding that he tweet something about TFM, or tell Adam that it’s great. Maybe Kris’ statement was in response to those people. He’s already told Adam to his face how he feels about the song, so why does he need to do it again on twitter, where anything that he says will just be dissected by those who could care less about his opinion, but just like to bully people via the internet.

babybelle32, Kris didn’t say TFM is a good song, he said, I’m pretty sure, “Adam already knows how I feel about that song.” So it sounded to me like how he felt was a private thing between him and Adam that he didn’t want to share. Like his tweet about the song specifically reiterated that Adam sounded great on it.

julieitis, I don’t think there’s a problem, Kris can say whatever he wants. I wonder if he’s being polite like the way he treated NoBo. Because I don’t think TFM is that great, lovely vocals notwithstanding.

Anyway, kudos to Kris for writing/co-writing so many tracks. I honestly expected LLWD to get to top 10 and who knows, maybe it will. It’s a really catchy song, I’ve heard it on Z100 a couple times.

so why would he be so candid about the backstory to ‘Let it Rain’ and be so circumspect about Adam’s TFM?

I don’t even understand what you mean by that statement. And it’s not even like the part you quoted is all that Kris had to say about TFM. He said it was a good song. And in regards to gushing about Allison, who Kris has repeatedly said is his favorite singer from this past season, so of course he’s going to gush, are we actually going to keep a counter to make sure he says the same amount of nice things about Adam as he says about Allison? That may just be a little petty.

I took his comment abiut TFM simply to meen its old news to him. He said he heard it a long time ago where as All’s song was new. As an Adam fan, I didn’t take his comments regarding TFM for anything other than face value.

happycat14 you are probably just overthinking it. None of us can get into Kris’ head and know what he really really thinks of TFM but if he made a positive comment about it I would just take him at his word…Kris isn’t very good at lying

That’s a little surprising how they are debuting new songs from Kris’ album, but hey I’ll take it I hope people at the concert bring back vids!

Can anyone tell me what Kris meant when he said about “Time for Miracles” that “Adam knows how I feel about that song”? It sounded to me like he disliked the song, but, as he said, thought Adam’s vocals were great on it. Or maybe Kris didn’t feel like being quoted about what he thought about TFM, but he freely gushed all about Allison’s single. I’m curious, not trying to fan flames. I don’t need the other idols brought up in any of the idols’ interviews, or need them to comment on each other per se. It’s just that Kris seems bluntly honest, so why would he be so candid about the backstory to “Let it Rain” and be so circumspect about Adam’s TFM?
