And you know what exciting for me is that the videos (hopefully there are some) will be a little bit different because the fans are different. Maybe his performances and banters will be somewhat different too. So exciting !!

You can never give anything a certainty, but as their #3 seller for 2009, I doubt Kris’s name is one being bandied about by Jive as an artist to drop, especially when 2 of his fellow AI alums, Jordin and Allison, sold significantly less than him in 2009 and Jordin has a lot longer to sell.

i know David Archuleta sold 211K on his Christmas Album. what about the numbers for Kris, Allison, and Jordin?

and p.s. congrats to Kris! this seems like a wonderful tour and will definitely open up his fanbase to different genre-listening fans!!! (though i never wouldve paired him up with Daughtry, but One Republic is a near shoe-in!)

And just thinking about Keith’s comments about Kris growing as a performer, and seeing how much he’s grown already just gives me warm fuzzies all over

though i live somewhere far away and not be able to go to any of the kris concerts, i’m super excited for those who are (of course you need to get back to us here in the blogosphere with goodies i.e. high quality close up shots of kris and videos hehe)

I’m also so happy for you girlygirl, Mtlfan, cookcricket and all the others who can go to see one or more of Kris performances. As I can’t, I still hope to get to enjoy tons of recaps and videos and photos. I love all this technology which allows us scorned people to get our share of the fun!

I did notice, though, on the Borgata website that Kara Dioguardi is listed for a concert on 4/9 and 4/10??? Should this go on the IDOL appearances page? I had no idea she was doing concerts, much less during the IDOL season!
