Season 8 Idol winner, Kris Allen, took part in the National Memorial Day parade in Washington DC today. He rode on a float and performed an acoustic version of his single. “The Vision of Love.” The parade aired live on stations across the US.

    EDIT – You’re right, it’s simple enough. I had to focus hard on the printed word to get it, because it doesn’t come through at all in Kris’ laidback style of singing.
