I am sure there are a lot more than a minority of Kris fans that lurk here, its just they are reluctant to post . You have to be thick skinned on here & not worry about others comments too much & don’t take things too seriously!!

Was any part of that the actual interview? It was kinda lame, and I couldn’t really understand Kris half the time’ ¦he needs an interview coach like the pageant people have. I am enjoying his CD, though, and I suppose that is really what it’s all about’ ¦

As a Kris fan I come here and read whatever I want and just ignore the ones I don’t like. Mostly I come here to see what new videos / interviews of Kris are out there and new TV appearances that I might not have known .

Thanks MJ. And please keep up having Kris threads. He has fans out there, even if we are a small minority here.

I love it that Stan Walker won the Australian Idol. I’ve been following all his performances on YT. He is young and not ugly to look at either.

Like Kris, he is given a great opprtunity to make music and hopefully both young men will succeed.

I love how Jim equates Kris not getting the Idol trophy to losing his tie.

K: I don’t even have the American Idol trophy.
J: Did Gokey take it?
K: (laughs) Did Gokey take it??
J: Yeah, what do you mean you don’t have the–did they take it back? Where did it go?
K: I don’t know what happened to it, man.
J: You really don’t know?
K: I think it might still be at, like, CBS studios, or something.
J: Yeah…
K: With my name on it.
J: …That’s like my tie, I got a tie for my birthday, karaoke party, and I totally lost my tie.
K: You got drunk, didn’t you?
J: (groans)

Someone mentioned above that Kris fans (and fans of other artists) are being repelled from mj’s blog and I’m becoming one of them. It’s a shame since mj provides a one stop spot for Idol related news as well as for other guilty pleasures.

I just went over to read a Slezak article and there were people complaining that he favors Kris over Adam. So I was responding that if they ever reads some of those others sites you would see the same exact complaint. It is not exclusive to Top Idol.

You can type Brain Mansfield articles, Rickey.org, Entertianment Weekly Slezak’s articles, MTV’s Jim’s segments, and VFTW in that blank spot. I have seen the same comment said on all of these sites regarding stories about Adam.

What are you even saying? Are you saying all those people dislike Adam? Because I don’t think that Jim and Slezak do, though they prefer Kris and Allison. I think Brian is okay with some stuff Adam does, less so than others, but it’s not backhanded when he doesn’t agree with what Adam does, same as Jim and Slezak. I could not find it within any particle of my being to care less what Rickey/VTFW think about anything…ever. But not seeing a majority there.

Not that it matters in any way shape or form to my point this person specifically who has established themselves as someone who gives backhanded crap to Adam and feels the need to once again do so, while in the course of a nice piece about Kris, is annoying to me in this particular piece by feeling the need to do so (again). And that’s something I feel generally for Kris as well as generally for Adam. I know that I’ve seen Kris fans get, to my mind rightly, peeved when someone talks trash about Kris to prop up Adam. It’s not necessary all the way around for me. You feel differently? Cool beans. Of course that’s your prerogative.

So you can’t say that Top Idol is the only place if many other Idol sites the Glamberts complain about the same thing.

I guess you would have to include almost EVERY major Idol site that is dedicated to American Idol, because the majority see it about the same.

Really? the majority of sites hate Adam too? Good to know. I thought it was pretty evenly distributed myself, but if you say the majority of sites feel the way TopIdol does, who am I to dispute your knowledge of what the majority of the internet might be about this.

Meanwhile my point remains that TopIdol does lots of backhanded stuff against Adam, this piece contains it and links to previous ones about it, so I’m considering the particular source here in what she says in her piece, not the rest of what the rest of the internet says or thinks about Adam or Kris. And I still don’t personally enjoy the backhands against Kris I see when saying something nice about Adam (like in a recent CNN OpEd about Adam that had me until the last line snarking on Kris) don’t like this particular piece about Kris. I find it annoying and unnecessary, that’s it. But that’s just me.
