Kris Allen – Sings Anthem, Poses with Basketball Stars at the NBA Final

Kris Allen poses with really tall dude, and former Los Angeles Laker, Kareem Abdul Jabar at the 2nd game of the NBA Finals between Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic (The Lakers won…) Sunday night.

Before the game, Kris performed a fine, heartfelt rendition of the Star Spangled banner.   If that wasn’t sweet enough, this morning, Kris’s label deal with Jive records was announced.

Good news all around!

    The only picture I saw that didn’t make Kris look tiny was one of him next to Laker guard Derek Fisher (who I think is about 6’1″). Pretty much anyone would look small besides Howard (6’11″) or Jabbar (7’2″). But these photos are still adorable. I hope Kris had a great time!

    These pictures are hilarious. I love the one of Kris & Dwight, because look at the difference in the size of their feet. Dwight’s shoulders are like some kind of modern miracle. Holy crap that man is stacked.

    My brother is a “pocket” guy too – about 5’6″ or so. And, I have this equally amusing pic of him and Ed “Too Tall” Jones that I like to dig out every once in a while just to crack myself up.

    LOL..the pics are hilarious. When we go to the Bulls games the boys always want their pics with the cardboard cutouts of the players. Almost everybody posing with them look like pocket idols! :)

    I imagine it was hard to get both of them in a pic!

    This is the one thing I adore about Idol. Regular people getting to do fun stuff like this…let alone hopefully sell lots of records!

    Just too adorable for words…Kris’ arm just sits comfortably on Dwight’s waist. Heehee. And with Kareem, they just stood there on attention, again way too cute.

    BTW, it won’t be a surprise if Kris gets a Skechers deal like some of the past idols, plus perhaps a jeans/shirt ad. Kris always wears such casual clothing that getting him to promote a casual brand would be a very idea.

    Dwight Howard is 6’11″. Adbul-Jabar is 7’1″ or 7’2″. I have seen posts on other sites claiming Kris is 5’7″ or 5’8″…

    Thanks for that little video. His handler seems to be moving him right along! People are so aggressive! That one woman just reaches out for his shoulder and turns to snap her picture with him. Pushes poor Katy right out of the way! LOL.
