So beautiful. It is not Christmas Eve for me without ‘Silent Night’ and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather sing it for me than Kris Allen.

Merry Christmas, MJ, and to all who visit here.

This is Kris at his most sensitive and beautiful.  He gets to the essence of this simple folk song.

This is how “Silent Night” should be sung. Simple heart, joyous spirit.

    Thank you Kris Allen.

Thank you MJ for providing me endless hours of entertainment. :-)

Merry Christmas to everyone who posts here. I enjoy all of your collective wisdom and love the various opinions.

Kris needs to make a full album of Christmas classics and throw in some original Christmas tunes.  Next year, maybe?

Kris is just so amazing, what a lovely rendition.
I hope that he’ll make another Christmas album someday, other than a Christmas original song from him, I like Kris to include Amazing Grace and Away In A Manger, and Silent Night too and …all others. I’m greedy.

Thank you MJ for this. This is how it would have first been sung -as it was on Christmas Eve in Germany when there was no organist & the minister picked up his guitar & sang this for the firs time. Thank you Kris for a wonderful rendition.
Our Christmas is over -it was a lovely day- hope everyone else had a great day?

Several days late but for me it’s hard to pick a favorite on the CD, but this song is so very pretty when Kris sings it.
