Kris Allen Reality Rocks Part 2 and More (VIDEO)

Here’s Part 2 of the Reality Rocks interview with Kris Allen. Watch part 1 here.

Lindsey goes through more tracks from album with Kris. Check out an excerpt below. Kris discusses why he’s releasing his album on vinyl and why Zorro is the coolest dog in the world.

Kris mocks the swaybots. Good times!

“Loves Me Not” (a duet with singer-songwriter Meiko) – “It’s like the yin and yang of a relationship. Like, one minute you like me, one minute you’re telling me you hate me! I think it’s a great song–maybe it could be a single, I think.”

“Monster” – “There’s this thing inside me that people don’t know. I’m not a terrible person, I know that, but sometimes in relationship, I can be crappy. It’s like, ‘Listen, I am like this, please get away from me because I am gonna screw you up. I’m sorry!'”

“Leave You Alone” – “It’s like, we’re in this argument, and I am so stubborn. I’m right, even when I know I’m wrong. The song is about how the only way I know to make this better is for me to go away. And no girl wants to hear that. It’s definitely an in-the-moment song.”

Also, The Insider posted an interview. Read it Here.

Insider: You had a lot of fun with a Pictionary-themed video to reveal The Vision of Love. Are you planning more of those?
Kris: Yea. I like to involve that stuff. I try to be funny … although I am not a self-proclaimed funny guy. I think the fans love that stuff and it’s almost like they get to know me a little bit better when I do stuff like that. I’m really a big goofball and it’s nice for people to see that side because most of the music I write is pretty serious. I want people to know I’m not Mr. Serious all the time.

Was it fun to have more input this time?

Absolutely. I had a lot of calls with the director. He is out in New York, but we talked a lot about the treatment and just trying to make sure that everything was right and that everything was cool. And make sure that we were on the same page. It was very collaborative with me and him. It was awesome. I feel like I have been more involved with everything, which is a little stressful, but also it comes out meaning more and I feel like I am taking the reigns a little bit. I feel like that’s what you have to do in this business.
