Kris Allen Opening for Lifehouse – Fall Tour Begins October 15

I am excited! This is a good fit for Kris. Lifehouse is playing at the Pechanga Casino on Nov. 20 — I’m hoping Kris will be opening for him at that date, too (fingers, toes & eyes crossed)

Fingers crossed that he opens for them for their DC date… girlygirl, thanks for the heads up on the radio contest for tickets, I’d love to win tickets to that show even if he doesn’t open, have never seen Lifehouse live and I like them a lot.

I saw Lifehouse open for Daughtry earlier this spring – they’re great live. I recognized a lot of songs even though I didn’t necessarily know the names. Excited!!

The bands that Kris has opened/is opening for have been really diverse. That can only mean a much broader fan-base which is a good thing. I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing some new stuff from Kris on this tour!

I also really hope Kris gets some solo college dates for the fall. I think tonight’s show at WVU will be a good test.

Is Kris ever going to do gigs on the East Coast, near New York and Connecticut?

I couldn’t go to the Atlantic City concert and that was the closest to where I live in Connecticut.

My sister who isn’t even a fan has already seen him perform in San Francisco. I’m frustrated.

That CT date doesn’t list Kris though, does it? Might call the venue to ask if they know who the opener is

They’re a very good fit and also fan of Kris. It’s really good and easier to tour with a band that respect you and I think Kris will enjoy their company.

I enjoy Lifehouse – this is great! I hope he gets to tour Europe – I also wish he would come to Seattle.

Sounds like another good fit for Kris . It’s great that the artists he is opening for are diverse’ it’s a good opportunity to make the fanbase mere diverse.

This is so exciting! I had a feeling Kris would be opening up for either Lifehouse or Switchfoot. Seems like a great fit. Now if they come to Canada or Buffalo I’ll be very happy!!!

I am a Lifehouse fan and am very happy about this tour. I am hoping they will add an Orlando date to the tour. I just saw Kris on Friday, but wouldn’t mind seeing him again soon. Plus, I am looking forward to having more tour threads during the fall :}

I really like the fact that Kris is pairing up with a diverse group of artists. So far, I like everyone that he has opened for.

As soon as I heard the news I checked Lifehouse’s European dates just in case… I still won’t get my hopes up as they’re coming here so soon and there haven’t been any hints that Kris was coming to Europe at all. *secretly hoping*

This news makes me so HAPPY as Lifehouse is one of my favorites and I had seen them live. Just hope they’ll come to AZ this fall with Kris as the opening act!

This is great news and all the speculation was worth it I like Lifehouse, so I think it will be a good fit.

I’m glad he’s doing a university gig in WVA. I know my college aged nieces and nephews as well as those of my friends go to a LOT of concerts and prefer those on campuses. They’re usually at better prices and it’s a great way to build life long fans. I know I also hit every live concert I could during those years before mortgages and jobs got in the way.

A fan spoke to Kris about Europe last week and he said, ‘We’re working on it.’ Evasive, but hope for those European fans. It would be interesting if he could manage some side trips when (if) he gets over to entertain the troops.

I went to Vevo to have a listen to what they all do, because the only song that comes to mind is “Hanging on a moment” Anyway, they have a picture of Kris on Lifehouse’s vevo channel! Listening to a few of their other songs it does sound like a very good match up! I think people going to see Lifehouse are going to appreciate and enjoy Kris’ music! This could be huge for Kris, I can see him picking up a lot of new fans outside the idolsphere with this tour. Especially with Lifehouse themselves endorsing him.

EXACTLY!!! I’ve been dying all day about this news… This is so fantastic for KAB and IMO, is the best fit yet. The fact that Jason Wade keeps saying such supportive things about Kris (to his fans via blog & twitter) just makes me ~ gaaahh…… I’ve always loved Lifehouse, and now, love em’ MORE!!!

I was reading about all the excitement here today about Kris and Lifehouse and sadly I had never heard of them! I did go to Itunes and look for their music….I did recognize *You and Me* and I do love that song. I have not heard the rest of their music though…..I hope this will be a good match for him. Kris deserves some great things to happen to him!

Finally!!! Pacific NW dates! And how ironic that Portland & Seattle opened the Idol tour in ’09, and we are closing out Kris’ dates in ’10 (as far as we know). It’s been a loooooong dry spell up here!!

Canada – still scorned. Happy for the rest of you. Lifehouse played a bunch of western Canadian gigs earlier this year and will play 2 NFLD gigs in Sept. but haven’t played Central Canada in over a year. Sigh.

I’m so happy about this, because I really wanted to see Kris, and the MGM at Foxwoods show is very close to me. I’m just hoping to get a good ticket. And I like Lifehouse too, saw them when they opened for Daughtry.

For people looking for another show in CT, Kris is opening for Keith Urban on Sept 5 in Wallingford, CT. It would be closer to the NY area and is also on a Sunday.

Wow, Kris is so busy, 26 more concert gigs.
I’m happy that they will go coast to coast and the middle too, so plenty of people will have a chance to see Kris especially the Pacific North West area. He seldom goes there.

Never was a big Kris fan, but I’ve been so impressed by him this past year, he’s done so well and grown so much. I was blown away by him on R&K yesterday. Night and day from a year ago. He’s got a lot going on. You go Kris!

I’m thrilled that he’ll be playing the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal in Nov.. There is not a bad seat in the house. Of course, I want first row center of the upper Orchestra pit

I was just thinking about this. Last year at the AI concert I couldn’t hear Kris when he was talking to the crowd, and he didn’t say too much. He is so much more confident, and you can tell he’s having fun on that stage. It’s been really amazing to watch!

That’s great that Kris is doing so many dates with lifehouse. My daughter put their album on my i-Pod & i didn’t realise that they sung half the songs I had heard before . I really like their music – didn’t have to fast click any songs. Will be another amazing time of having lots of Kris threads !!
