Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not sure if youà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re still here or not, but I wanted to give some clarification on this comment. My husband plays, has for years and knows the lingo. This was truly a high compliment. It means something like a part of his personality and his interpretation of the song. (ie. Keith Urban holds his instrument well, Johnny Cash held his instrument well, etc.). Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a part of who they are as an artist. Hubby would be in heaven if Jason Mraz said something like that about him.

Kris performing on the Early Show on Thursday

I believe he and Adam are taping their appearances next week, but I don’t think they will be airing on the same day.

The piano player is Michael Orland – Associate Music Director of AI. He was the only Music Director before Rickey Minor joined the crew about 4 years ago. Now they are both ‘Associates’ Two very talented and respected musicians and arrangers.

Michael also occasionally performs at the Upright Cabaret.

The originally quoted ‘Now you have to sing that song.’ by Adam was from Kris’ radio interview with Billy Bush. Whoever added the ‘Good’ at the front of it was misquoting.

It was funny and anyone thinking it was rude is …. well, nuts. The myfoxla interview was a change up. Kris arrived after the reporter started and was having Adam reenact Kris’ reaction and what they both said. Kris arrived as Adam was telling the shaking him out of shock part. Kris spoke Adam’s words.

Two great guys making the best of a situation who will go on to do great things.

Thanks for the Ellen link to Heartless. Love it! Ellen is a fan of both guys and I know she is happy for them. Big difference from the Taylor Hicks/Chris Daughtry year.

BTW, they wrapped up shooting for the season on Friday. They used to wrap earlier, but because Ellen is a HUGE AI fan, they extended the show a week a few years ago so she could interview the winner. Adam will surely be on when the tour ends and they resume taping.

Wow, that was awesome, thank you. Watching Kris in that montage I was reminded of how well he moves and how good he looks on stage. To me he always looks like a “natural.”
