The Ellen Degeneres Show featuring Kris Allen aired this morning on my TV, and I managed to grab the video. Yay me.

Kris performed “Live Like We’re Dying” before he sat down to chat with Ellen. Kris on his wife Katy = AW!.

Bonus: Kris’s guitarist, Cale Mills is currently in the lead in the 2009 Cosmo Bachelor Wars! Kris makes a plea for Cale from the US Hot Hollywood Party Red Carpet. Check out what Kris has to say about that, also after the jump. via mtv

    kris made his “O” face again during the ellen interview when she said the audience are going home with his album. cute

    and awwww about katy. how sweet is that!

    regarding the performance, have to agree this was best LLWD performance so far and kris sounded really good. the only downside was that they never showed cale. oh well, he has the bachelor award so thats a consolation. heh

    That was making me laugh that he couldn’t say a word without the audience saying “Awww……”. But he is just so cute. He did a great job on the song too, sounded really good.

    Ratna12, I hear ya’! I thought I was prepared for this, but I’ve been close to tears already several times today. :(

    Nice!!!!!!! Idol debut albums are so much better this year!!! I’m impressed!

    THIS is what makes these low numbers (which are relative really) so frustrating. Jive needs to find out a way to promote what’s on this album to get people listening imo. I just feel like there is such a HUGE shadow over Kris and this album.

    Okay Kris, if for some odd reason you’re lurking here I have not completely given up hope and I’m so so so impressed with your album!!

    At this point, not all Kris thread is safe.. :( Look at the latest Kris thread.. I got so upset that I actually risk getting banned.. lol But it’s ok even if I get banned, at least I get to say out loud how I feel.

    It sure gonna be rough for the next few days or weeks and that’s exactly why less and less Kris’ fans are online… Like what cookcricket said, there is such a HUGE shadow over Kris and this album. Worse still, the bias media… if only people will give him a fair chance and listen to his album… they will be presently surprised… But Kris, some of us here will always be here for you and I’m waiting for your tour and second album already.. :)

    Guess what ? FINALLY, yes, I got the E-mail from I-tunes this morning. So I just downloaded the album. I’m happy now.
    Thank you Starr, if I did not see your post, I wouldn’t check . This past couple days, I ignored I-tunes, I was so mad.

    It is just weird that almost ALL the media are just like SHEEPS. Nobody seems to have a mind of their own. It’s like they want to show who can praise / overpraise their chosen one more than the other outlet (OK my grammar is really bad, but I think you know what I mean). Kris just doesn’t get a chance. They are sticking with the script that Kris is supposed to be #2 and that’s it.

    This Thanksgiving, among other things, I’m thankfull for being introduced to Kris Allen. :)

    To: Mr. Kris Allen

    I am not a fan of any idol but I love good music. You impressed me and my family during the AI contest when you sang Once from the movie Falling Slowly. It’s a slower song, simple guitar background but your voice came out strong and so good that we thought your version was better. Hope your next album will have this type of rendition. We need to hear more of that unique haunting voice.

    You are a good singer but the tracks in your album are not that interesting and do not IMHO showcase the quality of your voice. Hope you take this criticism with an open mind because we would like to see you successful.

    I bought your CD including A. Lambert and Subo.

    Try listensing to Subo’s songs. The instruments blended with her voice so nicely that it never overpowered her during soft and louder passages. Excellent reproduction indeed. She has a story but her voice plus excellent recording/mixing made me buy her CD.
