Second, I was listening to the local radio here and they had Tyler Stewart of BNL on to publicize an upcoming concert they have in November, and the DJ asked about Kris opening for them, Tyler called Kris the young pup (in a nice way – lol), and then said he was great and his band were all pros. He didn’t say a lot but what he did say was all good. lol

Thanks sleepinin for mentioning this. Chum is my radio station, and I’m shocked that they asked about Kris because they started playing LLWD in Feb., it was doing well and just as it was abot to make top ten they dropped it like a hot potato, and no Kris Allen ever since. Very strange, because I know for a fact that the DJ’s loved that song. This gives me hope that they may pick up The Truth.

CHUM’s whole relationship with Kris and his music is strange. I totally agree. It’s just completely weird – especially when they’re usually so idol friendly (they played The Boxer for MONTHS). So I was actually more thrilled that the DJ’s brought him up to Tyler than anything else. (hey they remember him! I have hope!)

I was thinking of buying tickets to that Nov. BNL show just in case that kris will be opening for them. I’ve never been to a concert at Massey Hall before, it’s supposed to have great accoustics, and I don’t mind BNL.

I don’t even see him on stage before since I always concentrate on Kris. I stood in front of Kris at Cale’s side at Reno,and even then, it was really hard to look at Cale, afraid of missing Kris action.

I think there was a tweet last week, the person was confused on who to look at in the front of the stage; Cale, Kris or Andrew.

Thanks all for the tweets, videos, pic, comments … and girlygirl for handling the thread. I’m also looking for a rental in LA and have the giant task of moving ahead of me. I am not looking forward to this whole process or apartment/communal living at all.

WHen I read the ‘American Idol pup’ comment .. and misinterpretation of it as ‘pimp’ (?) all I could think of is one of the female judges … Paula or Kara … saying Kris was like a tender puppy. Unfortunately, some blogger ran with that forever. But the truth is, he is like that. I cannot ever not smile when I see him perform or hear him talk or sing. He just makes you feel good.

I drop by MJ’s each morning for Kris’s concert thread, with many thanks to the hard-working souls who keep it going, post lovely pictures and take the time and energy to video so we can all experience the goodness, and for the headlines. Each day lately I’ve been keeping my fingers crossed that today was the day of the MV announcement. How many days has it been? How many days does it usually take? Am I really too anxious for this for my own good? Any guesses on when it will be out? Is this thread too dead for anyone to even see my entry? Oh well, I’ll just be over here in the corner by myself.

Yes music video on Monday.and chris nathan tweeted that his opening for kris when I get to see kris on the second.that’s so cool I like the one song of his that was free to download and well buy the cd on payday or at least look at some you_tube first.

I really like a couple of his songs. I also signed up the other day because he was giving away some free downloads of some of the other songs. I think I ended up getting four.

This really broke my heart. It’s bad enough when people post nasty things about him on various blogs and websites, but to barrage his twitter with their venom is just sick.

mtlfan, if you still have that ticket for Vermont, I should be able to go. Sorry it took so long but I just found out.

Another Long time lurker creeping out. These threads have been soooooo great. I read them every day and am a devoted fan of Kris. I think he is the best and love to read all the recaps and news. Someday hope to see him in person so everyone’s observations are appreciated.
Our local radio station is playing TT more and more so I have great hope for it and cannot wait to see the video.

I think Kris still reads his twitter @replies on occasion, or at least skims through them. He gets so many responses whenever he tweets anything, though, that it is impoosible for him to look at them all.
