Kris Allen performed a reggae-tinged rendition of Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” last night in Sacramento, CA.

The American Idol season 8 winner, has been treating his fans on his “Out Alive” tour with fan-requested covers. Check out the acoustic goodness below.

Also, Kris and his band shot a video of themselves goofing off before the show. Kris plays the ukulele, and reportedly, during the concert, he played a little guitar. Nice to know that the wrist he broke in a New Years day head-on collision is healing..

    Whether he plays less or more guitar in concert, I don’t know, it’s really up to him. But it’s good news if can fully heal and play guitar again, because it’s what he uses to write music. Which means, he’ll be able to record new music :D

    Late here.  My internet sucks nowadays and was able to watch this now. Don’t know Bieber’s songs (only some) and not familiar with this. Having said that, I like Kris’s rendition of this. I love reggae Kris ever since he put the same touch on She worked Hard for the Money on Disco week during his season on Idol.

    Kris has always been a great frontman, just look up the videos from his first tour. He usually did several songs without guitar.
