Kris Allen and Meiko “Loves Me Not” Surprise Performance in Little Rock (VIDEO)

Singer-Songwriter, Meiko, got a nice surprise when she performed in Little Rock, Arkansas last night.

American Idol Season 8 winner, Kris Allen, just happened to be in town (he lives there), and was able to join her on stage to sing an acoustic version of “Loves Me Not.”

Meiko was a featured singer on the tune, a track from Kris’s latest album, Thank You Camellia .

    It was great that Kris and his family were so supportive and came to see Meiko. I love this song and their voices matched up well, I think because Meiko’s was so diff.

    Very nice, both the performance and the recording!  They do sound really great together and as a Kris fan, I wouldn’t be too upset if they collaborate again.  I agree with one of the posts above that it is just totally charming.

    I have to admit I was not familiar with Meiko before I heard this duet on “Thank You Camellia”.  I must say their voices really sound great together and it’s a wonderful song.  So glad we get to see this performance.

    This is one of my favorites from Kris’s album. I love the duet.  Their voices are so great together.
    Kris’s whole family was there, tweeting up a storm of support for Meiko.  Cale was also there.  It’s just so nice to see a sweet and loving family.

    I really love this song.  It is great that we got a video of them performing it together.  I think it is becoming one of my favorite songs on the album.

    Thanks for posting this. I love this song and Kris and Meiko singing it. I really wish they’d tour together and collaborate on more songs. With Kris’ full band, of course.

    I had the pleasure of watching Kris and Meiko debut Love Me Not at Live in the Vineyard in April.  Kris asked her to come on the stage and sing it with him and then the next night she performed her own set at LITV.  My friend and I were fortunate enough to meet her after her set and she was so gracious to talk with us and give me an autograph.  I am so glad that she had a show in Little Rock last night and she asked Kris to come on stage and sing it with her.  I wish they could tour together.  That would be so cool!
