Kris Allen and Chris Daughtry Perform “Send Me All Your Angels”

Woot, great duet! Do you suppose if this was ever released as a single Jive would rerecord it with Chris D? JK

I was there last night and was so excited to see this. It was absolutely fantastic live and got a great crowd response. Both guys sounded great and their voices blended really well for most part.

Not a fan of either Kris or Chris (not a h8er though either! LOL)- but I enjoyed watching/hearing this- very pretty!

ETA: Amazing how the vocals kinda blend well (not perfect but good), considering they have different ranges/tone/whatever. I liked the slight changes towards the end, especially Chris’s second voice.

I think this is going to be another exciting weekend, Ratna 12. Between all the cool videos highlighting this great colab with Daughtry yesterday, and Kris’ solo gig tonight, it’ll be fun to watch!

This is an awesome video! I love the fact that they got to perform it together. I am looking forward to more video’s, recaps, and such tonight.

This is the duet that Jive should have re-recorded and released. This song is a thousand times better than The Truth.

I am a huge fan of Kris Allen, and I like Daughtry as well, so was a nice surprise to see this duet. To bad they could not release this as a “Daughtry live with” type of video for distribution. It would really help out Kris, I think:)

I love this song and it was just beautiful with Kris and Chris performing it. Their voices are so different but mesh well together. Hearing Daughtry on this, I was reminded of what I liked about him from his AI audition.

Thanks, MJ! I was not a Daughtry fan during season 5 but I have to give the guy props for being a stand up guy and doing so well in his career. He doesn’t bug me nearly as much as he used too . This was an awesome duet and I’m glad that Kris squared got a chance to do the song together. I do like the song a lot.

You gotta get the Walmart version of Kris’s cd to get “Angels”. Since there are no Walmarts in my town that ment I drove 40 minutes after work to get my cd at a Walmart the day it was released. I got so excited I got back on the highway headed north instead of south which just gave me more drive time to listen.

I agree this song should have been on the regular release instead of the bonus “Ashes”. If Jive really wanted a duet for Kris’s 2nd single this would have been it.

Love this song, one my favorites on the album. It’s so cool they had a chance to perform it together, who knows if they’ll have another opportunity to do so. I also love From The Ashes, too bad people can’t buy that one anymore, I play that one a lot.

Thanks to everyone for the great videos. Wish I could have seen those two together. Love that CD is so supportive of KA. I am going to see Kris in Orlando in a couple of weeks! I am so looking forward to that. I have not seen him since the idol concert.

Or maybe they’re trying out for S10. With this band of goofballs, I wouldn’t put it past them.

I enjoyed that quite a bit! (I’m starting to really like that song…agreeing with those who feel that maybe it should’ve been released instead of TT) Wish they could’ve done another duet later in the show! Kris’s duet with Keith Urban was wonderful as well. It’s too bad that he and Danny didn’t have more time to work out their problems for the show performance of Renegade last year because the studio version was quite good (just not sure how many people bothered to listen to it).

What a cool duet. You wouldn’t think that their voices would work well together due to being pretty different, but they meshed really well. Great job and thanks for the high-quality video!
